When you install Order Blender, we implement the following data collection practices necessary for the app's functionality:
- Shop Information: We collect your shop URL, email, and basic settings to manage your account.
- Order Data: We access order data (customers, line items, shipping addresses) solely for the purpose of generating your requested exports.
- Usage Data: We track export volumes to manage subscription quotas.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Generate and deliver CSV/Excel export files as requested by you.
- Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues.
- Bill for services via the Shopify Billing API.
3. Data Retention
We do not store your order data permanently. Order data is fetched real-time from Shopify, processed into a file, and then discarded. We only retain metadata (export logs, counts) for analytics and billing purposes.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our app (e.g., hosting providers like Cloudways, database services), so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
5. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have certain data protection rights, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may exercise these rights by contacting us or by uninstalling the app (which triggers a data deletion request via Shopify).
